Origami Fish Base Method 1:
Step 2: Fold diagonally from bottom up or top down as desired so that the top and bottom corners match.
The result is a triangle.
Open the paper again as before.
Step 2: Fold the bottom right diagonal edge up so that it lines up with the horizontal crease in the middle.
Step 3: Do the same as step 2 but for the top right diagonal edge down
Created an origami kite base. Then turn the kite base upside down.
Step 4: Fold the small end on the right over to touch the large end on the left.
Continue to flip back
Step 5 (important): After flipping it over, hold your finger and press from the bottom up to open the bottom. Continue pulling the bottom to the right until it becomes a point and flattens.
Step 6: Repeat step 5 but for the upper part.
Step 7: Bring a layer from the bottom to the right (as shown in the picture)
Step 8: Smooth out the edges and together we have created an origami fish base.
Origami Fish Base Method 2:
Step1: Fold the paper in half diagonally vertically. Crease carefully and unfold.
Step 2 of Origami Fish Base: Starting from the bottom, fold both the right and left edges to the center. Fold both sides evenly and unfold as before.
From the right
Continue the same with the left side.
Unfold both sides
Step 3: Now starting from the top, fold both the right and left edges to the center. Fold evenly and unfold.
Step 4: Fold the paper in half horizontally (as shown. Only fold the ends on each side (do not fold inwards).
Step 5: Now bring the right side to the center.
Step 6: The top and bottom parts will cover each other and make a flap.
Step 7: Just push the flap to one side.
Step 8: Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7. Your origami fish base is now complete using method 2.
