Learn how to make a origami dimond base. This base is super easy and you can use it to make lots of diffrent origami stuff.
It starts with the kite fold thing. Its really easy and there’s only 5 folds!
Step 1: Start with a square piece of paper and fold diagonally along two corners as shown.
Step 2: Then open the paper as before and continue folding the two diagonal lines on both sides as shown. Make sure the outer edge coincides with the midpoint fold line created in step 1.
It’s simple, isn’t it?
Once done, rotate it 180 degrees.
Step 3: Fold the top right and left diagonal lines so that they line up with the center fold.

Pro tip: You should practice the base folds often to get the most accurate movements. It is the foundation for other origami.
