So this here is the origami boat base, and it’s like the starting point for a bunch of origami things like a table or a photo frame and stuff.
You wanna begin with a square piece of origami paper – like 6 inches by 6 inches (or 15cm x 15cm, whatever you use).

Step 1: Simply fold the paper in half lengthwise and widthwise. Then fold both diagonally. Make sure you get a good crease, then unfold.

Okay so for Step 2 of the Origami Boat Base, you just fold the right and left side into the center. Make sure you press it good do the folds stays.

So for Step 3 of the Origami Boat Base, you simply fold the top and bottom pieces towards the middle (following the arrows and dotted lines depicted in the image). Make sure you crease well so that it stays there.

Okay so for Step 4 of the Origami Boat Base, you just unfold the top half now. Then you makes 2 diagonal folds but only for the top layer, not the whole thing.

Now you fold the top part back down, then you press the paper so it lays flat and makes like a roof shape.

So for Step 5 of the Origami Boat Base, you just rotate the paper 180 degrees. Then do Steps 4 and 5 again but this time on the top part. Make sure you don’t forget it or it won’t look right, I think.

And now your origami boat base are complete! You did it, hope it turn out good lol.
